Plans for Boggy@Cherrywood

After the SUSE5 meeting, folks from the City of Austin had an internal meeting (Local Flood and Creek Flood missions) where they discussed moving forward as a joint local+creek flood project as early as 2021, possible with Design Phase. Environmental (Stream Restoration + Quality) is also a part of this discussion. This is consistent the recommendation from SUSE 5 to make it a comprehensive project involving multiple missions. 

​Folks from the City of Austin Watershed Protection Dept. are scheduled to meet with consultants this week about this site. The consultant is working on preliminary engineering report, which we hope to share once it is available.
